Introducing 'Kringles'

Welcome to Kringles Toyshop. I loved the name Kris Kringle from the film 'Miracle on 34th St' and I thought how fitting the name would be for this little shop.

I built this lovely kit some time ago and unfortunately I didn't take any photos during the actual build as it was before I had a digital camera but I hope you will enjoy my progress as I fill it up with toys....
This how it looked before decoration.

I decorated the outside of the building with card bricks and I tiled the roof with mdf roof tile strips.
the inside is now all fully decorated too. Downstairs is the main shop area which has begun to fill up with a few toys.

Upstairs is to be a room which is rented by a lady music teacher so I will be able to add some lovely musical instruments up there.

I'm thrilled with this 'oil painting' under the light. It's the first time I've used a picture light and it really does show up the picture to good effect. I bought the little painting from a fair and the seller has printed it on a textured paper which really does really make it look like it has been painted on a canvas!

I've just received a couple of new bits of furniture for the room upstairs.
A small Glenowen table and chair.

And I've added some photographs on top of the piano

I think this room is starting to take shape now.
